2026Factory acceptance test for a purified water system in Bulgaria
In June, USF Water Group successfully completed a three-day Factory Acceptance Test for a new Purified Water system — with the largest pharmaceutical manufacturer in Bulgaria. The system was designed to handle challenging feed water conditions and includes an ultrafiltration unit, a hot-water sanitisable softener, a PW generator with a capacity of 1.5 m³/h, a PW storage and distribution loop, and three precision dosing points for direct reactor dosing — where accuracy is not just important, it's critical. FAT passed. Commissioning and SAT are planned throughout July, with system handover scheduled for early August. Projects like this are a good reminder of what a FAT is really for — not just a checkbox before shipping, but the moment where design intent meets operational reality, and where any remaining questions get answered before the system reaches the customer's floor.
2026Contract for a purified water generator in Croatia
We are proud to announce that USF Water Group has been awarded a contract to supply a Purified Water generator to the largest pharmaceutical manufacturer in Croatia. The system is built around two technologies that reflect how we think about water treatment design — not just in terms of meeting quality requirements, but in terms of long-term operational efficiency. A.R.T. — Advanced Regeneration Technology: The hot-water sanitisable softener unit is equipped with our A.R.T. regeneration control system, which monitors the regeneration process in real time and uses only the quantities of brine and flushing water that are actually needed. Compared to conventional softening systems, this translates to savings of 25% in operating resources — a meaningful reduction in both cost and environmental impact over the lifetime of the system. Conz-RO — Concentrate-Staged Reverse Osmosis: The PW generator operates at 8 m³/h and is equipped with a concentrate-staged RO configuration, which increases the system's water recovery rate to 90%. Less water lost as concentrate means lower operating costs and reduced strain on the facility's water intake — a consideration that is becoming increasingly important across the industry. FAT with the customer is scheduled for October. At USF Water Group, reducing operating costs through innovative technology isn't a selling point. It's how we design every system we deliver.
2026Capacity increase for a PW system in Hungary
We are also pleased to announce that we have been awarded a project to increase the production capacity of an existing PW generation system from approximately 500 l/h to 1,000 l/h in Hungary for one of our pharma customers.
2025Two PW generators for the Czech Republic
We successfully delivered a project in the Czech Republic for one of the world's leading pharmaceutical companies. We delivered two PW generators with endotoxin specification, fully hot-water sanitizable, with our EcoMOTION for modulating production rate, Zero-Discharge-Mode for no waste water during recirculation, softener with single-valve control and the Advanced Regeneration Technology ART to minimize the operational costs for brine and rinsing water. Furthermore, for reducing the operational costs we also had a concentrate recovery RO included to increase the recovery up to 90%.
2025PW tank and distribution skid for a customer in Austria
We had a project where we delivered the PW tank and distribution skid for one of our customers in Austria. The bringing into the building was done on a Saturday, because the client had to dismantle some pipework due to limited dimensions. The scope for that project was the PW storage tank, the distribution skid RingMATE and also a 400 meter long PW loop with several Point-of-Use valves. It is already the third system for this customer — in July we commissioned a 1,500 l/h PW generator UltiMATE and a 3 m³ PW tank with distribution skid RingMATE plus 600 meter PW loop.
2025WFI generator for a pharmaceutical manufacturer in Hungary
Another project we had in 2025 was a WFI generator that we delivered for one of the biggest pharmaceutical companies in Hungary. The generator is a USF UltiMATE 1000 Plus, production rate 1,000 l/h, fully hot-water sanitizable. Softener BioSOFT 400 MW/HW plus in worker-polisher operating mode. Each softener vessel is hot-water sanitizable independently from the other vessel, therefore no interruption of production necessary. System includes also a UV for dechlorination. System is operated chemical-free, no sodium bisulfite dosing or sodium hydroxide dosing necessary.
