Pharmaceutical industry
Pharmaceutical and biotechnology production requires consistently high media quality and reliable hygienic operation. We provide integrated clean media solutions for Purified Water (PW), Water for Injection (WFI) and pure steam, including their generation, storage and distribution. Our systems are designed to meet applicable pharmacopoeial and GMP requirements and can include comprehensive qualification documentation. Clean media for pharmaceutical production
Pharmaceutical production needs more than one utility. We design generation, storage and distribution as a whole, with one partner responsible for the entire utility system.
Purified water (PW)
Purified Water is produced for pharmaceutical manufacturing in line with Ph. Eur. and USP. We design generation, storage and distribution as one coherent system, including the storage tank, distribution loop and points of use. Systems can be supplied as hot-water sanitisable and are fully qualified and documented.
Water for injection (WFI)
Water for Injection places the highest demands on chemical and microbiological quality. Two processes are available for its generation, and we select between them based on production capacity, energy demand and the sanitisation concept.
Membrane-based generation
Membrane-based generation combines reverse osmosis and electrodeionisation into a continuous treatment chain. It operates without steam generation and is particularly suitable where energy consumption is the deciding factor.
Distillation
Distillation is the classic process for producing Water for Injection. Our hot generator programme covers WFI distillation as well as pure steam generation. The design takes into account energy consumption, sanitisation and the required production capacity.
Pure steam
Pure steam is required for sterilisation and applications with direct product contact. We design generation and distribution together with the other clean media, so that requirements for materials, hygiene and documentation are met consistently throughout.
Hospitals and laboratories
Hospitals and laboratories depend on reliable water quality for analysis, diagnostics, sterilisation and other critical applications. We provide systems for Type 1 ultrapure water, Type 2 pure water and Type 3 reverse osmosis water. Each solution is designed according to the required quality, daily demand and peak flow. Our portfolio ranges from compact laboratory units to central water generation and distribution systems.

Water quality can directly influence product quality, process reliability and the service life of production equipment. We develop customised process-water solutions using filtration, softening, reverse osmosis, electrodeionisation and other suitable technologies. Each system is designed around the feed-water composition and the specific requirements of the production process. Our solutions help customers improve operational efficiency while reducing water, energy and chemical consumption.

Correctly treated boiler and cooling water helps prevent scaling, corrosion, fouling and microbiological growth. We provide treatment solutions for make-up water, boiler-feed water, cooling circuits and condensate systems. The selected process is adapted to the water quality, operating conditions and equipment requirements of each facility. Reliable water treatment improves energy efficiency, reduces maintenance requirements and extends equipment lifetime.
